about me
Dharambir Singh (The Lion of God Who Walks the Path of Dharma)My yoga journey began in 2001, when I took my first class with a friend. It was hard, but I knew that It had to become part of life. As someone who has struggled with my weight I decided to add it as a regular part of my fitness routine. Through a regular Hatha practice, I found yoga was not just a physical practice, but was about mind, body, and spirit. It is a complete workout. This led me to Kundalini yoga which has been an amazing transformative experience. I have had the pleasure to study with an amazing teacher, the fabulous Miss Krishna Kaur. Through this journey I have discovered my Sat Nam (True Identity), and realized that teaching is not what I wanted to do, but rather what I was called to do.
I teach mixed level groups of Kundalini and Hatha, as well as specialized groups: kids, plus size and prenatal. Yoga is not just for the fit and flexible. It is truly for EVERY BODY! Anyone can do it. A regular practice can truly transform your life. Is it any wonder why so many celebrities have turned to yoga? Even celebrity fitness trainers are recommending it. The science and spirituality of Yoga is a path to explore our inner selves and elevate our consciousness, while creating a counter-balance to the stresses of modern life. Yoga is FITNESS for Mind and Body.
So join me on the mat at Greenleaf Yoga Studio in Whittier, Ca. or contact me for group or private classes.
